Ductwork Leakage

Duct leakage in your home can greatly impact your indoor air quality by introducing dusty attic and wall cavity air into your home.  Air may escape outside through small (or large) holes in your ductwork.  By repairing this leakage, you can:

        A simple test by a specially trained FPL representative will tell you whether air is escaping into your attic or being drawn into your home.  For single family home, your cost is $30.00 for one air conditioning unit (additional units are charged at $15.00 each).  This cost is placed directly onto your monthly bill.  Mobile homes, attached villas and condominiums (top floor units with attic access only) are inspected at no charge.

        If repairs are needed, FPL will issue you a rebate certificate towards the repair work.   Single family homes received rebates of up to $154.00 per a/c unit; attached villas and condominium units (with attic access) receive $57.00 towards repairs and mobile homes receive $65.00 towards repairs.  It's that easy!
