Do …clean or change your filters every 1-3 months.  When filters are not cleaned or changed regularly, they can become a contamination source, spreading dirt and musty odors through your duct system and your home.

Do…upgrade your air filtration.  Low efficiency filters allow particles into the air conditioning unit.

Do …maintain your air conditioner unit regularly.

CONDENSATE PANS should be cleaned every 3 months.  Algaecide tablets should be used to help control microbial growth.

EVAPORATOR COILS should be inspected and cleaned annually.  This removes microbial accumulations which can spread through your ducts and home when your air conditioner runs.
